The AX-3 is an upgraded version of the SX-3. Upgrades include alloy rather than steel frame, 3 disc brakes, upgraded deraileurs and gears, 27 rather than 21 gears, a large front rim and wheel (20" wheel as compared to a 16" wheel), split rear axle and cambered rear wheels. It is approximately 8 pounds lighter then the SX-3.  This recumbent trike is available with a 35cc Subaru, 35 cc Honda or 50cc Honda engine, gearbox and chain drive.  Standard accessories are available - see accessories links - and include wind screen, baskets, lighting systems, Cateye computers, safety flag, cruising throttle, etc. All bikes are fully assembled and ready to go.
